The glider is in very good to excellent condition. I intend to have it annualled in 2008 for sale. The graphics that Willie applied fit the plane well and really make it look sharp. It rigs easily and can be rigged by 2 people. Connections are not automatic and care must be taken that all connections are secure.
The glider is a joy to fly, with no surprises, and handles well in the air and on the ground. The glider is not rated for aerobatics. It will spin (I know that for a fact) and correction must be made immediately. It is a floater and will thermal in the slightest lift. It is light and ground handling is easy.
Willie repaired the lower rudder hinge and recovered the rudder in 2003. Damage to the rudder occurs when the glider is towed on the ground without the rudder gust lock in place. We made a new gust lock and it was always used when the glider is ground handled.
The trailer is in very good condition, tows easily, and tracks well behind the tow vehicle. It was last registered in 2004
